Curated by Buyers, for Buyers.

I’ve been trend-spotting today (22nd Feb) at INDX Homewares and have seen loads of natural textures and neutral colors from a whole host of suppliers.

New textiles, nuances, and patterns, with complimentary colored home décor, furnishings, china-wares, accent chairs, and wall art adding visual appeal.

Trends

Biophilic

While the biophilic design was a big trend for 2022, the influence of the natural world will only expand in the year ahead. Natural elements such as marble, rattan, terracotta, natural stone, wicker, and cane will continue to have a strong presence in interior design over the next year.

Earth tones seem to be holding on and there will still be many water tones like green and blue to be seen.

Terracotta adds warmth to rooms and is reminiscent of soft, Mediterranean landscapes. With a rustic, earthy texture, the natural material feeds the prevailing desire to connect all interiors with nature. Incorporating organic textures and earthy tones will be a wonderful way to create a cozy and calming environment in living spaces in 2024.

Accented

The past few years have been all about green tones, now 2024 is evolving towards rich, vibrant colors in muted tones. Neutrals may be trending but there is no shortage of colour in the showroom at INDX Homewares from beautifully printed linens to brightly coloured cookware there is a rainbow of colours to choose from!

Jewel tones and contrast patterns are back, particularly in soft furnishings and upholstery. Deep greens that are almost black and dusty yellows, pinks, and reds are showing up as choices for sofas and accent chairs.

A lot of the newer prints for table tops, cushions, rugs, and upholstery [also] have contrast backgrounds with brighter prints that add a pop of accent color to the space.

Pet Corner

The new and a very innovative innovation to bring the Pet brands was thrilling and I am excited to see more participants. For our best canine friends and Horses, it was a nice beginning to see the pet industry coming words to showcase their wares. If you want to connect with the participating brands drop in a line to know more.

Final thoughts

Over all the natural and a very spontaneous personal statement and a new take on the entire balance of life is what I saw. It’s organic, wholesome, and at the same time timeless, arty, and unique and not to mention cute.

It was good to see new energy and drive to put across the wares which work in the balancing of the life. The sheer joy and excitement among the brands and the buyers was definitely there. I look forward to more joy and connections through these fairs to come.

Do connect to know more about the brands showcasing the home décor stuff.

Happy shopping in the meantime.
