Fashion and Recycling……

The Recycling of fashion Brand

Peachy Den – The Billie Bag

In the groundbreaking, fashion meeting, the recycling ‘PD’ is staying ahead and making a big splash. Recently I saw the long queue for the pop shop with a long waiting for the £5 Billie Bags in either Matcha or Forest Fruits (new colorway!!) in SOHO.

The Billie Bag in Matcha is composed of a deadstock semi-sheer organza with a water-resistant coating in a gingham check print.  Which comes in a longer cross body that features a front pocket and ties fastenings.

People queuing up for a deadstock-made bag. WOW.

That is what it is and it made people wait to buy. I think this generation is making a point while buying this recycled deadstock georgette fabric in its new reusable avatar.

Design Attitude

Peachy Den celebrates the easy intersection between slinky sensuality and plush comfort. Designed for daily life and all its natural shifts, the brand constructs clothes from fabrics that prioritize movement and all-hours coziness, while still being flattering for each peachy figure.

Brand led by women, designing clothes for individuals who dress for themselves. The Brand pieces make an ordinary day more playful, and sexier.

Silhouettes are self-aware and built from slinky stretch fabrics to frame your figure because the brand believes body confidence doesn’t believes come at the expense of body comfort. The Brand creates clothes for everyday empowerment.

Designed in London

Designed in London and inspired by its distinctive attitude, the brand celebrates an ‘all seasons’ approach: offering a playful Peachy palette with everlasting appeal.

Peachy Den plays with fashion and fabric and doesn’t take it too seriously, but does keep eyes wide open to the brand’s impact on the world. Their mindset is mindful production. The brand prioritizes high-quality natural fibers and often works with ‘end of roll’ fabrics that otherwise would have gone to waste.

 Environment Conscious

Say no to greenwashing and yes to transparency. The Brand is conscious of using materials that last because they know Peachy people need their clothes to keep up with their lives. To ensure the brand continues to use fabrics with a high content of natural and recycled fibers, the brand has expanded sourcing and production to include Portugal,  Italy, and Tunisia where the brand has found organic and sustainably produced fabrics in all of these countries. With a zero-waste spirit, the brand is trying to reduce and reuse its waste wherever possible, turning fabric scraps into scrunchies and selling samples on Depop.
